Regular PATA Days, the Int’l INQUA workshop on Paleoseismology, Active Tectonics and Archaeoseismology, take a break in those years in which INQUA holds its large congress. Instead, small summer schools are usually held: 2019 in Prague and 2023 in Palermo. In 2027, it will be a winter school coordinated with the INQUA congress in India:
The PATA 2027 Himalaya Paleoseismology Workshop will take place from January 24–27, 2027, in Ramnagar, Himalayas.
Supported by the INQUA TERPRO Commission’s CHAMP Project, this workshop marks the first time a PATA event is being held in India, and we are honored to host our community in the Himalayan foothills.
